Unnamed 1.0 released

从7月份至今，我在Unnamed上投入了至少300个小时，这种长期入不敷出的投入已经快毁掉一个大四学生的前途了。好在现在它终于足够成熟和稳定了，所以我决定在截掉它beta尾巴的同时宣布Unnamed 1.0版本的诞生。感谢这三个月来一直支持本站和这个主题的朋友，感谢收录和传播这个主题的友站：）
我推荐所有朋友，无论你以前使用哪个版本，都进行一次更新，尽管这个版本没有太多功能上的变化，但我保证这个版本的代码是最精简和高效的。
更新包括：
- 重新设计部分图片。
- 新增Skin：Blue Memories。
- 我用新的script.aculo.us 1.6.4重新裁了一个effects.js，去掉了多余的特效，比以前大1kb。顺便对prototype也做了更换。
- 利用script.aculo.us自带的滑动效果重做了滑动菜单，不再需要那段多余的javascript，同Opera 9的兼容性的问题也已彻底解决。
- 更细腻的Live Search效果，同时代码更精简。
- 解决了上一版本加入评论预览后AJAX评论存在的一个小问题。
This is a stable release and I recommend everyone get your unnamed theme updated.
Changes:
- Some beautification.
- A new skin: Blue Memories.
- Optimize javascript.
- Live Search, AJAX Shelf and AJAX Commenting now work more smoothly.
Update 12-04-2006:
- 我修正了两处不规范的、可能导致CSS无法加载的php代码，版本号不变。如果原1.0版本出现该问题请重新下载。
- I fixed some bad codes in header.php and unnamed-css.php. If there is no style applied to your site, please download the theme and try again.
Download Unnamed Special Edition 0.5 (If the styles of v1.0 can not work properly on your site, please try 0.5SE, which includes most useful features of v1.0.)

UTW的控制面板里有个”Automatically include primary tag links”选项，你可能选择了其中的”Before Content”，选择为”No”即可。
或者你也可以去掉theloop.php中的这段代码：

I was hoping you could help me see the difference between this theme and K2 based themes.
Are there big differences? How do they compare?
Also, so far it seems if I put K2 styles/schemes into the styles folder, it doesn’t seem to work so well. But do your custom style sheets basically work the same way?

This theme was not so much like K2 when I created it three month ago. But I eventually imported some AJAX fuctions from K2 and other great themes so it became a K2 mod.
Compare the code of the two themes and you’ll see their differences.
K2 schemes may not work on this theme beacuse their xhtml/css code are different.

One of the coolest features of your theme is the sliding menu. Did you create this yourself? If not, where’s the original and how complicated is it to incorporate into a theme?
I know it’s a ton of work, but do you maybe have any plans to build a similar theme but starting from a K2 mold? I think it’d be excellent – especially if you incorporate the WP Theme Toolkit to add to your theme options, which are already great :)
In the future, will there perhaps be a way to put the main content in between two sidebars (one left and one right?)
Also, is it possible to get e-mail updates on comments made on this page?

1. The sliding effect is created with script.aculo.us.
2. I used to incorporate Theme Toolkit in v0.3 and v0.4. It’s cool and easy to code with but not powerful enough. So I decided to write the option page myself and I could learn more from other themes.
3. I’m afraid I’m going to stop developing for 3 months because I’m busy with my study:)
When commenting on my site with this theme Swedish letters Å (A with a circle) Ä (A with two dots) and Ö (O with two dots) doesn’t work (but they did before installing the theme).
Would be very glad if you could look inte the commenting-code. Published text works fine as usuall.

This is very much a newbie question. I am just now learning php and XTML.
Something I would like to do is change the href at the top from “blog” to “home”. Which file are these references in. I have been through most of them and I cannot find it. If you could just point me to the correct file I could begin the education process.

I apologize for this entry as I’m sure this is something on my end but I am having trouble reading your response. All I can see is a line of boxes. I have changed the encoding in firefox a number of times none of which has helped.
Is this page encoded differently or am I just too dumb or both?

Hi, I just installed your theme and I like how it looks, but when I use the “More” feature in Wordpress so part of the entry shows on the home page and people have to click the “Continue Reading” link to see the rest, the two sidebars move down to the bottom of the page. They don’t stay on the side of the page like they’re supposed to. It doesn’t happen unless I use the “More” function in an entry. Is there a way to fix this?

This is one of the technically best themes I’ve found yet. I still like the warm colors of ‘Orange Crush’ more. Would it be possible to have a “warm version” of this too? I would just need the header image in orange, or perheaps in some editable graphics format.

I’m changing the various header colors. the one I can’t find is that which governs individual post headers. Can you point it out to me please?
Also, the headings in the second sidebar are centered. Where is the code governing that please? I need to align-left.
Love your unnamed one theme. very cool. Don’t know much about templates and want a page that has no sidebar with content that is as wide as the whole page, for my forum page. It needs the whole width. Sorry have been trying but not much of a coder I’m afraid. The theme works awesome for my musicians blog though and want to make it perfect!

Hi, I am currently using this theme at http://www.mutabletech.com and I love it. However, I am having a slight issue with Internet Explorer (works great with FireFox though).
1. In IE, there is no orange line under the navigation (small issue, not important).
2. The more important issue in IE is that when viewing a single post, my blogroll links disappear though the header remains. My blogroll links remain when viewing my home page (not single post).
I would greatly appreciate your help with these issues. Again, thanks for the great theme-it’s really awesome.
Just a quick addition to my last comment. In IE, in the single post view, my blogroll magically reappears if I move the cursor over a link in the part of the sidebar where it says “This entry was posted on Wednesday…” Also, it does not seem to be discriminating against my blogroll because it is also cutting off half of my categories. I think it is just cutting things out after a certain point in the sidebar.
Any suggestions? I could really use the help. Thanks again
Ok, I fixed the issue. I simply deleted all the commentary on the top right: “This entry was posted…” That fixed everything. :-)

the following problem is what I am encountering.
1) from the admin panel-options-general when I update the file I am redirected to write a post.
2) when configuring Dashboard Options plugin when I update I am redirected to the same wrie a post page.
Is there a way around this?

Hi, I’m having trouble trying to change the h1 title color in the header (title of the blog). I can change the description just fine but the blog title stays white when I modify it in unnamedcss.php file. Do you know how I could change the color of the blog title?

My sidebar moved to the bottom of the page under the posts, and the homepage is having problems loading properly. Please see http://www.ajewishblog.com and then see my about page which still loads properly. Do you know what is causing this? I didn’t change anything, it just changed on its own.
